Mind Over - Finish Strong

Mind over matter is kinda like having a mental gym membership, where your thoughts do the heavy lifting and your attitude is the personal trainer. Just like Proverbs 23:7 says, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” For seniors, this means flexing those mental muscles becomes extra important.

Now, I’m not saying positive thinking will turn your wrinkles into dimples, but it sure can make them easier to smile through. Studies show that staying upbeat can do wonders for us golden agers, from keeping our minds sharp to helping us outrun the creaks and groans of aging.

Changing your outlook isn’t rocket science—though sometimes it feels like brain surgery, especially before that first cup of coffee. It’s about trading in those gloomy glasses for a pair that sees the world in Technicolor, even when the TV is stuck on black and white.

It’s about choosing to see the glass as half full rather than half empty, even when facing difficult situations. This right outlook can make a world of difference in how we experience our later years.

Now let’s face it, we’ve all got a few “senior moments” in the memory bank, but with a positive spin, they become charming anecdotes rather than frustrating fiascos. Who needs perfect recall when you’ve got a treasure trove of stories to share?

So, fellow seniors, let’s use our superpower, laugh in the face of challenges, and remember: life may throw us a curveball, but with the right mindset, we can still hit it out of the park. After all, age is just a number, and with a positive, proper attitude, we’re all still young at heart.

Finally, I’m a believer in the power of prayer! If you would like me and others to pray for you, just send me a note in the comment section of this website (don’t worry it’s private) and I’ll have a team of people praying for you.

Remember   “We Will Finish Strong”

GOD bless!!!!
