Together we can - Finish Strong

There’s a POWERFUL saying from the Bible that goes like this: “A strand of three is not easily broken.” It’s a simple but true reminder, especially for us as seniors, about how important it is to stick together.

When we join hands with friends, we’re not just stronger; we also find more joy and have more fun. Whether it’s playing cards, going for walks, or just chatting over coffee, doing things with others makes our lives richer and more enjoyable.

Teamwork isn’t just for young people or athletes. It’s for us, too. When we come together to do something, whether it’s a group project like knitting blankets for newborns or organizing a community garden, we accomplish more and feel a sense of pride and belonging.

And let’s not forget the tough times. We all have them. But with friends by our side, those tough times are easier to get through. We can pick each other up when we’re down, lend an ear when someone needs to talk, and give a hug when it’s needed the most.

Lastly, the memories and friendships we build during these times are priceless. They’re the kind that last a lifetime and remind us of the good in the world.

So, let’s remember to reach out, join in, and stick together. Because together, we’re not easily broken. We’re strong, joyful, and full of life.
